The Florida Worth Fighting For

Preserve Florida is rooted in the old Florida spirit, where crackers, fishermen, and families who’ve worked this land for generations come together. We’re the voice for the springs, the coasts, the Glades, and every acre of wild ground that made this state great in the first place.

This Is Our Florida

Long before the toll roads and the high-rises, there was a Florida that ran on salt air, spring water, and a man’s word. A Florida where you knew your neighbor, where the fishing was honest, and where the land wasn’t just something to develop. It was something to steward.

Preserve Florida is a political committee built by Floridians who remember that place and who refuse to let it disappear. We organize citizens, hold elected officials accountable, and champion conservation policies that protect Florida’s natural heritage without strangling the livelihoods of the people who depend on it.

We aren’t radicals. We’re your neighbors. Ranchers, hunting and fishing guides, small business owners, veterans, and retirees who believe that clean water and a strong economy aren’t competing interests. They never have been. Real conservatives conserve. That’s what this is about.

What We're Fighting For

01

Clean Water, Period. Florida’s springs, rivers, and aquifer are the lifeblood of this state. We support strong water quality standards, holding polluters accountable, and making sure every Floridian has access to the clean water our economy, our property values, and our way of life depend on.

02

Responsible Growth. Growth is coming whether we like it or not. The question is whether we plan for it or let it steamroll the places we love. We advocate for smart land-use policy that respects private property rights, protects rural communities, and doesn’t sacrifice paradise so a handful of developers can turn a quick profit.

03

Coastal Resilience. From the Panhandle to the Keys, Florida’s coastline is our identity and our economy. We push for policies that protect our beaches, estuaries, and fisheries from overdevelopment, pollution, and the real-world impacts of stronger storms and rising tides.

04

Everglades & Public Lands. The Everglades aren’t a photo op. They’re the water supply for millions of Floridians. We support full funding for Everglades restoration and oppose any effort to sell off, defund, or neglect the public lands that belong to every citizen of this state.

05

Keeping Florida, Florida. Some things can’t be measured in dollars. We stand for preserving the character and culture of Florida’s historic communities, from fishing villages to cattle towns to the tight-knit neighborhoods that give this state its soul. Floridians should decide Florida’s future, not out-of-state interests.

Citizen-Powered Conservation

Educate. We cut through the noise and give Floridians the straight facts on environmental policy, land-use decisions, and who’s doing what in Tallahassee and in their own backyard. No spin. Just the truth.

Organize. From local town halls to statewide campaigns, we bring people together. The loudest voice in the room shouldn’t always belong to the biggest checkbook, and it sure shouldn’t belong to Tallahassee insiders cutting deals behind closed doors.

Advocate. We engage directly with elected officials at every level, supporting leaders who put Florida’s land and water first and holding accountable those who treat our natural resources like a piggy bank.

Support. Through independent expenditures and issue advocacy, we put resources behind the candidates, policies, and ballot measures that align with our mission to preserve the Florida we know and love.

Where We Stand

Fuel the Fight

Tallahassee listens to money. The developers, the polluters, and the special interests have plenty of it. What they don’t have is the moral high ground, and they don’t have the people on their side. Your contribution to Preserve Florida helps us organize citizens, run issue campaigns, and make sure the folks who want to protect this state are heard just as loudly as the ones who want to cash it in.

Every dollar goes toward defending the Florida our families built and the future our children deserve.

Preserve Florida is a registered political committee. Contributions are not tax-deductible. Contributions from foreign nationals are prohibited. Federal law requires us to use our best efforts to collect and report the name, mailing address, occupation, and employer of individuals whose contributions exceed $200 in a calendar year.

Stand With Us

This isn’t somebody else’s fight. If you drink the water, breathe the air, fish the flats, hunt the hammocks, or just love looking out at a Florida that hasn’t been paved over yet, this is your fight too.
